The Bath Public Schools Middle School auditorium was originally constructed in the 1980s. As with many such spaces, the technology had not had any significant updates since the original construction. With the latest bond issue, the district recognized that the space was in severe need of technology updates. C2AE architects of Lansing, MI hired Hamilton AV Design to put together the design for the updated sound, video, and lighting systems that would be required for the space. The installation was carried out by TPC Technologies of Niles, MI.

After several design meetings with the stakeholders of the space, Hamilton AV Design came up with a program and budget that met the desired needs of the space. Using Dante networked audio along with video over IP to distribute video signals around the facility, and leveraging the energy savings of LED theatrical fixtures, the new systems bring the space to new heights of technical prowess!  The flexibility and expandability of the systems will allow Bath to configure the space in many different configurations and provide the ability to grow for many years to come.
