How We Build with Tomorrow in Mind

AV technology seems to outpace itself every year, and missing features–and the expectations that accompany them–in an older system have a compounding effect over time. This can lead to operator frustration and a less than ideal experience for the users or guests in a space. For that reason, Three Rivers High School set out to redesign its auditorium after over 25 years. This new AV design and equipment not only updated the space, but most importantly allowed for growth and future adaptation. HAV.design designed and integrated a system alongside GMB Architecture that’s both high-performing and adaptable, ensuring the auditorium remains a capable, flexible space for years to come.

Across the Board

Since the music suite and auditorium, both originally built in 1999, had reached the end of their lifespan, the entire space was ready for an overhaul. The upgraded system, finished this year, enhances sound, lighting, and video across the entire auditorium. A new digital console, speaker arrays, and wireless system deliver clear, balanced audio. As for visuals, a high-brightness projector, touch-panel controls, and flexible inputs were added to replace outdated equipment.

Lighting throughout the space was replaced with efficient, fully dimmable LED fixtures, giving the school a professional-grade setup with customization. Every element was intentionally designed to grow with the school’s needs now and over time.

A Space Built for the Future

The Three Rivers High School Auditorium is fine-tuned and easy to operate. It will last for years and will allow for flexibility when upgrades are needed down the road.
